Hi, I’m Juan David Garzón

I’m a backend-focused software developer building projects with Java and Spring Boot while learning Kotlin. I enjoy understanding how systems work behind the scenes and creating reliable, maintainable, and secure applications.

I currently work as an operational processes coordinator, where I’ve developed strong skills in organizing workflows, leading teams, solving problems, and taking ownership of results. I’m bringing that experience into software development while building the technical foundation for my career transition.

This portfolio represents my first complete project built and deployed to production. Through it, I’ve gained hands-on experience with REST APIs, PostgreSQL, React, Next.js, TypeScript, Docker, CI workflows, and cloud deployment on AWS.

I’m looking for an opportunity to begin my professional career in backend development, contribute to real-world projects, and continue growing in software architecture, cloud technologies, and secure development practices.
